RV & camper tips

Piñon Flats Campground takes RVs up to ~35-40 ft (no hookups); the main road and Medano Pass are soft-sand — 4x4 only beyond the campground.

Do non-U.S. residents pay extra at Great Sand Dunes National Park?
No. Great Sand Dunes National Park is not on the 11-park non-resident surcharge list, so entrance fees are the same for all visitors.
