Do I need a special license to drive an RV?
In most U.S. states and Canadian provinces you do not need a special license for RVs under 26,000 lbs, which covers nearly all rentals. A standard driver license is enough for Class A, B, C, and most travel trailers.
Can I tow a travel trailer with my SUV?
It depends on your vehicle tow rating. Many SUVs and trucks can tow small to mid-size trailers, but you must check the tow capacity and use a weight-distribution hitch. If you have no towing experience, a motorized Class B or C is easier.
