Exterior Check
Walk the whole rig in good light:
- Roof and seams: look for cracks, soft spots, or stains that signal leaks
- W walls and corners: note every scratch, dent, or scrape, however small
- Windows and seals: check for cracks and that they latch
- Tires: tread wear, sidewall cracks, and correct pressure
- Lights and markers: test headlights, brake, and turn signals
- Awning: extend it to check for tears, then retract
- Steps and hitch: rust, damage, or looseness
Interior Check
- Ceiling and walls: water stains or soft spots mean a leak
- Floors: soft or discolored areas
- Upholstery and beds: stains, rips, or odors
- Appliances: run the fridge, furnace, water heater, and stove; confirm they work
- Plumbing: run water; check under sinks for leaks
- Electronics: lights, outlets, monitor panel, and the LP detector (test the button)
Systems Test
- Water pump: turn it on; confirm pressure and no leaks
- Slide-outs and jacks: extend and retract (if equipped)
- Generator: start it and confirm output

Document Everything
- Photos and video: capture all four sides, the roof, tires, interior, appliances, and especially any existing damage—close-ups and wide shots.
